Benefits of Collaborators
- Our support team can securely log in to your store, and you can set an expiration date for our access to ensure control over your account.
- Collaborators do not count towards your staff limit, allowing you to maintain your team size while still receiving support.
Why You Need a Collaborators Account
- In specific situations, we (FireApps) may need to log in to your account to investigate and resolve issues. If you have reached your staff account limit in Shopify, we can assist by sending an invitation for a Collaborators account instead.
- Once you accept our invitation email, the collaborator’s account will appear in the Collaborators section on the Plan and Permissions page in your Shopify admin.
- This access allows us to log in to your account, review your issues, and implement the necessary fixes efficiently.
Permissions to Grant Us
- Generally, we (FireApps) require basic access permissions, including Products, Apps, Theme, and Orders (especially if you are experiencing issues with the Ali Orders app).
- In some special cases, additional permissions may be necessary to resolve specific issues.
How to Accept the Invitation for a Collaborators Account
To accept the invitation, simply click the link provided in the invitation email.
If you accidentally rejected the request, don’t worry. Contact us via our live chat or email us at support@fireapps.io to request a resend of the invitation for the Collaborators account.
How to Remove a Collaborators Account
You can permanently remove collaborators from your store. Please note that this action cannot be undone.
Steps to Remove a Collaborator
- Log in as the store owner.
- From your Shopify admin, click on Settings, then select Users and Permissions or Account.
- In the Collaborators section, click on the collaborator’s name.
- In the Remove Collaborator Account section, click Delete Collaborator Account or Remove Collaborator Account.
- In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.
Note: If you haven’t set up a single login, you will see Account instead of Plan and Permissions.
The collaborator will be permanently removed from your store and will no longer appear in the Collaborators list on your Users and Permissions page, and they will no longer have access to your store.
If you wish to grant access to a collaborator again, you will need to ask them to resend the collaborator request. For more information, see Giving partners access to your store.
