What is Tracking & Update?
The Tracking & Update feature enables you to monitor and update the cost and stock levels of your products in real-time. Zopi synchronizes your product information with AliExpress every 24 hours, ensuring you always have the most current data available.
How to Set Up Tracking & Update
Follow these steps to effectively set up the Tracking & Update feature in Zopi:
- Log in to Zopi > Settings & Billing > Product.
- Locate the Tracking & Update section.
- Choose your preferences for handling changes from your supplier:
- For a product that is out of stock or no longer available: Select Do nothing or Set as draft in your store.
- For a variant that is out of stock or no longer available: Choose Do nothing or Set quantity to zero in your store.
- For a supplier who increases the price: Enter your desired percentage change and select Do nothing or Update price based on “Pricing rule”.
- Click Save to finalize your settings.
How to Check Tracking & Update
Notifications
With the Tracking & Update feature, you will receive notifications about changes to product SKUs, inventory, and prices. By checking your notifications, you can effectively monitor the status of your supplier products and make necessary adjustments. Manage your notifications in the Notification Center. Learn more here.
Automatic Inventory Update
The Tracking & Update feature notifies you of changes based on your settings. If a product becomes out of stock or unavailable on AliExpress, you can configure your Shopify store to automatically set the product to draft status. Additionally, if a specific product variant is out of stock, you can automate your store to update the corresponding variant’s quantity to zero. This keeps your store accurate and up-to-date with the latest inventory status from your supplier.
When notified of these events, you can take appropriate actions to update your product status:
- Product variant/Supplier SKU has changed: If a product variant is deleted or its SKU or name changes, our system will unlink it from the supplier in the app, allowing you to remap the variant. Check this guide to learn how to update the supplier.
- Product out of stock: If a product is out of stock but still available on AliExpress, the supplier may update the stock number at any time. In this case, our system will not change the stock status in the app, and your product will remain listed.
Automatic Price Update
You can also set up automatic price updates. Whenever suppliers increase their prices by a percentage you choose, your Shopify products can automatically update their prices based on your Pricing rules. Learn more about Pricing rules here.
