Phone number is always required by AliExpress while fulfilling the order. Without it, you will receive an error message Incorrect shipping information, and the order cannot be placed with your supplier. How to fix failed orders in Zopi
Steps
- Login to Zopi > Order center > Placement.
- Access the Needs attention sub-tab.
- Find the order with an error and click Update next to the error message to quickly resolve the issue
- In the Pop-up, fill in all required information, including the phone number and fields marked with an asterisk.
- Click Save for new changes.
Now, you can place the order like you normally would.
How to avoid failed orders in the future
To prevent order failures due to missing customer phone numbers, you can set up in your Shopify store in advance to comply with AliExpress’ phone number requirements.
Steps
- Login to Shopify > Settings > Checkout.
2. Scroll to the Customer information section.
3. Under Shipping address phone number, click Required.
4. Click Save.
Now your customers will be required to fill in their phone numbers when they checkout in your store.
